RIM BLACKBERRY10 SMARTPHONE ONLY BY MARCH 2013..

RIM is holding on to its promise of releasing the new BlackBerry 10 smartphones in Q1 of 2013, but it is holding on just barely. AllThingsD is reporting that an early Q1 launch for the new BlackBerry 10 smartphones looks highly ‘optimistic’ and March is looking to be a more likely launch date for the new devices. The report also reiterates that RIM is focused on delivering a polished product to the market and will not rush the release.

Previously, the company was scheduled to launch the BlackBerry 10 in Q4 of 2012, but it then retracted and stated that the OS needed some fine-tuning for which it had delayed the launch to Q1 of 2013.
One can’t help thinking if this is going to be too late for RIM, because by March 2013 Microsoft would have released a slew of Windows Phone 8 products and Google will also have a new range of Nexus smartphones in the market.
